Back to routine

It's about time to leave our vacation behind and enjoy the memories that we gathered during those two weeks.

A lot happened after we came back from the States. A week after we came back, Eef had to fly to Hungary for work. It went like this:
We came back from Arizona on Tuesday, the week after on
Friday morning, Eef left for Hungary
Monday morning, Ed left for Denmark
Monday evening, Eef came back from Hungary
Friday morning, Eef left for China
Friday evening, Ed came back from Denmark
Tuesday evening, Eef came back from China!

Eef was in Shanghai at the time when the earthquake hit China. We heard about it in the morning. I immediately called her to check if she was OK. Thank God she was alright. She was far away from Sichuan.

My dad fell down the stairs. He was dreaming that my mom was calling him for help. It was 3 AM. He sleepwalked to the stairs and thought that he was downstairs and going up but he was in bed and fell down the stairs.  He hurt his leg, ankles and foot. Stubborn as he is, so was my grandfather , he didn't want to go to the doctor. We almost had to carry him to see one.
He was lucky he didn't break his neck! He is feeling much better again but is afraid to fall down the stairs again.

What else happened:
I went to a friend's mom's funeral
Initia lost the Play-offs from Sasja
I had another communion shoot
We started our own little business as www.fotomakers.be
I'm working on a project for a city nearby, deadline July 1st
Dad had his 72nd birthday, we went out to celebrate his birthday a week later because of his sore leg and I went to the hairdresser.
Floor got sick last week, we went to the veterinarian. He takes his medication twice a day but still feels under the weather.

I think that's about it if you don't count the hype around 'Mijn restaurant' the Flemish version of the Australian TV show ' My restaurant rules ".
One of the 5 contestants was a couple called Yanaika and Stephanie of Hasselt . Of course we were supporting them. Too bad they lost their restaurant to Jelle and Micheline (mom and son) of Leuven . There was a lot of fuzz about the final. Our newspaper had published the wrong telephone number to vote for your favorite. We will never know who at the end was the real winner!
